My Carving Lair

It is dark and cold in my basement, but for the first time in my eighteen years of carving I am able to carve year-round.  Before that, I was restricted to working outdoors because of the dust that my carving generates.  Now, with an in-lap (or in this case, in-workbench) dust collector as well as a separate air filtration unit, I don't have to be a slave to the weather or worry that I'm killing my lungs.  The dust collector draws most of the dust away from me into a collection bag.  The bag will not prevent the finest particles from getting into the air, so the air-filtration unit runs simultaneously and pulls those tiny particles out of the air.
