Owl cradling stone: Sycamore root and stone. Wood burned feathers

I found this piece of sycamore root along the river a few years ago, and after much debate over what to turn it into, I settled on the owl below.  It is about 4 inches tall, and the feathers have been burned into the wood using a wood-burner.
