I have been wanting to create a dragonfly in three dimensions for a long time. Dragonflies are colorful and beautiful to behold. This piece measures about three feet by three feet. It's made with two boards to provide a little depth, but also to provide strength overall, by allowing the wood grain to extend in two directions (along the wings, and then in line with the "tail".
